Basic Equipment

This course will introduce the many different types of construction equipment and the varied environments in which the operating engineer may operate machinery. Equipment functions and safety requirements will also be addressed. Training will include Qualified Signal Person, Crane Rigging Safety Qualification, Telescopic Material Handler/Forklift Operation Certification, Operation of an Articulated Haul Vehicle, and Skidsteer Safety.

Course Objective

Learn safe and effective use of various pieces of construction equipment.

Equipment Required: Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
