This course will introduce the operator to safe basic operating techniques, utilizing small dozers (up to D6 size). These techniques will include how to operate the dozer safely in various conditions. You will learn how to identify different job site conditions and hazards as well as how to react to these conditions utilizing general industry safety practices during everyday dozer operations.

Course Objective

Gain basic understanding of a dozer along with basic grade techniques.

Equipment Required: Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
