Course Objective
Students will be introduced to the basics of overhead crane safety. Topics will include: terminology, inspection, operational safety, and rigging. Emphasis will be placed on the various regulations that apply to hoisting using this type of machinery. Primarily classroom related, there may be some practical field exercise.
